Can Groovy help to prevent user promoting based on approval flow?

Hello everyone,

I have one question about Groovy's ability.

I now have an approval flow for both Entity and Project.

And I also have a form to show the validation by using Groovy to highlight in red:

My idea is that if I have a cell in red highlighted in this form, the user cannot promote.

My question is:

Can Groovy support preventing users from promoting when a form has error validation?

If yes, which class/method should I use?
