Does Minimum Transfer Quantity work when multiple work orders supply a finished good in PS?

Summary:

Hello,

I have configured the following scenario in Oracle Fusion Production Scheduling and noticed that the system behavior does not match my expectations regarding the Minimum Transfer Quantity (MTQ) parameter:

  • A subassembly (S) is produced by two separate work orders (WO1 and WO2), each using different resources.
  • Both work orders independently manufacture and release quantities of the subassembly into inventory.
  • Afterward, a finished good (FG) is produced via another work order (WO3) that consumes subassembly S as a component.

Issue:
Even though I have set a Minimum Transfer Quantity in each work order for the subassembly, it seems that WO3 is not able to consume the subassembly S as soon as partial quantities are released; instead, it appears that it waits for the full order quantity or the system is not recognizing the availability as expected.

Howdy, Stranger!
