Work relationship cancelled in error - guidance on data recovery

We're seeking guidance on whether data from a work relationship can be recovered or retrieved for reloading.

So an employee’s work relationship was cancelled by mistake and the related assignment data is no longer visible. The business is asking if there is any supported way (including SQL, backend extraction or restore options) to retrieve this data so it can be reloaded via HDL or recreated manually if required.

We understand that cancelling a work relationship may result in permanent data deletion. We have reviewed Oracle document 2872401.1 but using another environment is not feasible due to data masking. A full environment restore is also not an option due to risk of data loss.
