25D Global Search - worker search not returning all results

We noticed after our upgrade to 25D, when we start searching for a worker in Global Search and type just the first letter or two, it does not return results of workers that have that letter in their name. Only when we type more letters, it finds them. Did anyone experience this? Is there a solution?
