When do changes in Intercompany expiry policies become effective?

Hi,

When Intercompany expiry policy is changed from 5 Business days to 30 Business days, will the changes become effective ONLY for NEW Intercompany Transactions or will the changes become effective for all Existing Intercompany Transactions that are submitted for Approval? Oracle document does not indicate this information. It only indicates how to set up.
