Approval Workflow In VBS/VBCS

Hi ,

We have a requirement to create a custom page using VBS in HCM. We can complete this part, but in addition, we need to develop approval notifications through email and HCM Fusion notifications. When a user creates a new record and clicks a button, the page should initiate an approval flow.

We would like clarification on the following points:

1. Is there a REST API available to initiate or manage approval flows?

2. Is it possible to create BPM approval rules for custom pages built in VBS?

3. Is it possible to achieve this using custom JavaScript, and if so, is it supported?
