Adaptive Search not syncing with Application Composer

Summary:

When I try and access Adaptive Search I get the error message below. I can not get to the page which allows me to publish because every time i click on Setup I get this message:

When I select Show Details I also get the following:

I have tried to Syncing Metadata since yesterday morning but nothing is happening. This is only happening in a specific pod. I was advised to change the Periodic refresh timeframe to 15 minutes from 1 hour but I still get the same issue
