Use Case: In one of our client's supply chain operations, sales orders are created with a default ship-from organization determined by Global Order Promising sourcing rules based on the ship-to location. However, operational realities such as space constraints, inventory availability, or fulfillment capacity limitations sometimes require them to fulfill orders from an alternate warehouse.

Current Challenge:When an item is fulfilled from a different warehouse than originally intended, the shipment history reflects the actual fulfillment location rather than the intended ship-from organization. This creates inaccuracies in Demand Management forecasting, as historical demand is attributed to the wrong location.
