-Starting January 1, 2026, Washington's Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) total premium rate increases to 1.13% of gross wages, split with employers paying ~28.57% and employees ~71.43%

-CO PFML the total premium rate drops to 0.88% of wages (from 0.9%), split between employer and employee (typically 50/50 for larger employers), with the employee share maxing out at 0.44%, while larger employers (25+ employees) cover at least 60% of the medical portion
