FA (BPA) Reference Field Appears Read-Only in Draft Purchase Order but we can add Agreement

in Self Service Procurement

Summary:

In Oracle Fusion Procurement, once a Purchase Order is saved in Draft (Incomplete) status, the system allows entering the FA (BPA) reference. However, the field does not appear editable—it is displayed in blue, similar to a read-only or locked field, instead of white.

Although the value can be entered, the UI behavior is confusing and inconsistent with standard editable field behavior.

Could you please confirm:

  • Whether this is an intended Redwood / UI behavior
  • Or a known issue planned to be addressed in a future release?
