Simplifying Promotion Handling During Secondment (Home & Host SBU Updates)

Currently, when an employee is promoted during an active secondment period, the assignment/position change is required to be updated in both the Host SBU and the Home SBU.

While this approach works functionally, it increases operational effort as the same change must be managed in two SBUs.

Specifically, we are looking for Oracle recommended best practices to,

  • Manage promotions during secondment more efficiently
  • Avoid duplicate manual updates across Home and Host SBUs

Has anyone implemented a streamlined solution for this use case, or can Oracle confirm if there is a standard/recommended approach?
