Is volume based on primary UOM??

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding volume calculation in Oracle Fusion (Order Management / Purchasing / Inventory).

We have an item defined in PIM/Inventory with Primary UOM = Each (Piece) and with UOM conversions configured (for example, Box → Piece).

In Purchasing and Order Management, users place orders and process shipments in Boxes, and the system correctly converts quantities to the primary UOM internally.

However, when validating volume (shipment / invoice), the calculation appears to be based on the primary UOM quantity (Pieces) instead of the ordered UOM (Boxes).

Item dimensions (length, width, height) are maintained at item level.
