How to make Header Columns smaller with their row height with Forms 2.0

Summary:
Is there anyway to make the the column headers smaller or fit to width? It seems like the more I stack on the column headers there is less room for users to actual view the results. Seems like its almost taking whatever cell is the biggest and just that for all the column headers, not sure why would need to waste all that space withe the Year and Month column headers?
