Create Cost Accounting Distributions Process automatically going in cancelled status

Hello

We have a requirement in our project where - We have created 2 Job sets where "Create Cost Accounting Distributions" process is part of both Job sets. One is being utilized in scheduled way and other is being used in integration, based on business events. Now in many cases if both the job sets are triggering simultaneously then second process being triggered is getting cancelled.
Is there any way to put a Pause/Wait/hold on second "Create Cost Accounting Distribution' process so that it does not get cancelled.

If anyone has faced same issue could you please provide you inputs on this.
