When Oracle ERP invokes OIC via Manage External Service Details for Algorithms, is OAuth supported?

Oracle ERP invokes Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) through Manage External Service Details for Algorithms. The OIC integration is developed using a SOAP trigger connection. Currently, the invocation works successfully using Basic Authentication. However, as per client expectations and security standards, OAuth-based authentication is required. Could you please confirm whether OAuth authentication is supported for this invocation mechanism when using a SOAP trigger–based OIC integration? If supported, kindly share the recommended configuration or best-practice approach to enable OAuth in this scenario.
