Smart View Adhoc Refresh - Alternate & Default Alias Table Behavior differences

How can we make an alternate alias table the default in Smart View? Currently, when an ad hoc grid is saved with an alternate alias table, it does not refresh with the same members, and we need to reselect or recreate the saved ad hoc. Ideally, it should work the same way as it does with the default alias table.

Has anyone else encountered the same issue in Smart View, where after reconnecting, the alternate alias table in an ad hoc grid does not refresh correctly following a disconnection?

If yes, what options have you taken to address this issue? This is very crucial, as we must have an option in Smart View similar to the
