Issue: Court Order Deduction Calculating as rate instead of percentage

in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI)

Context:
We have set up an Attachment of Earnings Order (AEO) in Oracle Fusion Payroll for UK legislative requirements. The expectation is that the deduction should use the statutory banded percentage table based on attachable earnings, as per UK law instead of the rate in the cal card.

Problem:

  • The deduction is currently calculated as the manual rate as per the cal card deduction rate instead of percentage.
  • SOE shows a fixed amount (e.g., £17.00),instead of percentage 17%
  • It appears the Court Order type is not referencing the statutory table in the background.

Questions:

  • Should the Court Order element automatically link to the statutory table when configured for AEO?
