Over Picking does not close movement request

We have enabled the overpicking for movement request, however, when we overpick the material in the pick confirm screen, Material gets moved, but the Movement request line status is not closed automatically. But when we again transfer the requested quantity, it gets closed. Is this the expected behaviour?
