Missing Quotes and Opportunity Products in Salesforce from CPQ

Summary:

Sometimes, Salesforce Opportunities are missing the associated quote or products even though the quote exists in CPQ. We ensure that the quote is saved when it is created so the quote-upsert integration can sync the details to Salesforce.

However, we’ve observed cases where the Salesforce Opportunity shows no quote, and these quotes cannot be found in Salesforce without manually logging into CPQ to search for them.

In other instances, the quote is synced to Salesforce, but the Opportunity’s products/line items are missing, even though the same products exist on the Salesforce quote.

In both scenarios, the data is correctly reflected once the quote is saved or the “Return to Opportunity” action is performed.
