Custom Message Templates in Redwood Recruiting: The CSS code is shown and sent to candidate

When a recruiter selects one of our Message Templates in Redwood, code is shown in the message, and the correct message is shown below the code:

The candidate receives the following (code on the top, and the correct message below):

Of course we don't want the candidate to see all of the code on top.

This is only happening since Redwood. We haven't changed our templates.

What is going wrong? Is this a known bug?
