I understand that Oracle Replenishment Planning Cloud does not use Min-Max or ROP policy values when calculating excess and shortage or when generating inventory rebalancing recommendations.

If that is the case, could you please clarify why a policy plan (Min-Max/ROP calculated plan) must be attached to the Inventory Rebalancing Plan via the Demand Schedules plan option?
