Cost Center not defaulting while Duplicating existing position

Summary:

Hi

when duplicating a position (in my client groups > workforce structure > position details > search position > action > duplicate) the field for department automatically updates when you change the parent position . however, this does NOT change the cost center automatically

Cost center is blank and manually we need to select drop down. Please confirm if this is expected behavior on Duplicate position page . As we see cost center gets defaulted when we create position using Request New position page .
