FYI Notification to End User on Project Closure (Without Approval)

Summary:

We have a requirement in Oracle Fusion Projects (PPM) to notify the end user / project owner when a project is successfully closed by the Finance team.

Current Situation:

• Project closure is performed by the Finance team.
• The project status is directly updated to Closed.
• No approval workflow is currently enabled for this closure step.
• Because there is no approval workflow, no FYI notification is triggered to inform the end user that the project has been closed.

Business Requirement:

• Once the Finance team closes the project, the end user should receive an FYI notification confirming that:
  • The project is closed successfully
