MS Teams and Outlook Integrations Delegate persmissions vs App Level Permissions

We are in the middle of learn implementation and would want to implement the Calendar Integration as well as Teams. Both these requires the customers to open up all app level API Permissions.

When our security teams see its at the App level API Permissions and for all Calendars and all users/ emails , these integrations are not getting approved by our internal security teams so that we can implement.

We would like to understand why are these integrations requires access at App level instead of delegate.

Are there any changes expected on these integrations with respect to the permissions?
