SFO setup for multiple item master

Dear experts,

Due to different reasons, we have 2 item masters configured as described below

Item master A → Inventory orgs A.1-150 → BUs A.1-150 and ledger A

Item master B → Inventory orgs B.1-150 → BUs B.1-150 and ledger B

We are prototyping to start using the global procurement option of supply chain financial orchestration, one for each ledger. And trade within each ledger, not cross.

We get a bit confused by the (single) "Item validation" default inventory organization in the "Manage Financial Orchestration System Options" configuration. Does it mean that Supply Chain Financial Orchestration is limited to one item master in a cloud implementation / enterprise?
