Summary:

The customer has a requirement that 60 days before a contract expires, a notification should be sent to the manager. The notification should include some questions to evaluate the employee and at the end, indicate whether the contract will be renewed or not.

The initial solution was to use a journey, but journeys only work with actions, and HR would have to manually take action on the employee screen. This isn’t the ideal solution.

The alternative was to use Nudge configuration. The Nudge can handle this requirement, but unfortunately, the channel type is only “Journey” and the recipient is set to “Employee” by default, which is mandatory.
