Demand plan UI is not Opening

I am facing this issue

Cannot invoke "oracle.apps.scm.advancedPlanning.planningAnalytics.common.metaData.IHierarchy.getLevels()" because "selectedHierarchy" is null

Why is this Happening ? What steps we can take to improve this?
