Add Assignment - Does hiding Temporary / Permanent impact any other logic behind the scenes?

Hey Experts,

Our customer does not need the "Will the Assignment be Temporary or Permanent?" field when adding a new assignment (see image).

We would default it to permanent AND then also hide the field in VBS.

My Question: Is anyone aware if hiding it has any impact on further pages across the system?
