course completed but offering for course shows withdrawn

Summary:
Every now and then when our L&D team goes in to update a learner's record to Bypass completed the course will updated correctly but the Offering will show withdrawn. Is there a way to manually change the offering back to Completed? Screenshot is appears this way when you search the course with the Learner's name. But when you pull this up under Offering it appears as if all the people that were By Passed completed have all withdrawn. This isn't consistent with other courses (invol or voluntary); they typically both show Completed.
