projecdoes not allow to add a budget project for the year 2026 after I changed the task end date

It does not allow me to add a budget project for the year 2026 after I changed the task end date from 12/31/2025 to 12/31/2026.

When I go to add the budget to the project, I see that the task or type of expense still has a date of 31/12/2025 and it doesn't list the periods for 2026

How can I add budge to the project for the period 2026?
