Miscellaneous receipt for a kit

Hi Team,
Without Manufacturing and WMS module in scope, how to perform a receiving for a Kit Item in Inventory?
Our requirement is instead of performing a Miscellaneous receipt transaction for component items, we want to do a receiving for the kit item and the component items to be received. Kindly let us know how this can be achievable.
