Drill Through not available after application restore

Wanted to ask the experts here about expected functionality after an application snapshot restore. We recently had to recreate an environment and restore an existing application snapshot. In that snapshot, we previously had drill through working. After the restore, the same drill fails saying "Drill query does not return any data. Data was not loaded to this intersection using Data Integration…"

QUESTION: Is this expected behavior after a restore? Is it expected that you'd have to re-run data integrations to get drill through working after a restore?

Note: We were able to get the drill to work again after re-running the integration.
