Can a custom Demand Measure be used as Demand Schedule in the supply plan?

Summary:

I have a custom measure in Demand Management with an expression that calculates the forecast we wish to pass to the Supply Plan. That custom measure is selectable in the Supply Plan, but no forecast records show in Supply Planning when we use this. Instead we need to copy the custom measure data into Adjusted Bookings Forecast which then does come over to the supply plan as forecast records. Is there something that needs done for custom measures to be able to see as forecast in the supply plan?
