Missing "Person Address" Attributes in Redwood Business Rules Validation – Bug or Design Gap?

Summary:

I am currently working on a requirement to validate Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 (specifically to prevent special characters) within the Redwood Hire an Employee flow.

I am using Business Rules (VB Studio) for this validation, but I have encountered the following issue:

  • The Issue: When defining a Validation Rule in VB Studio, the "Person Address" attributes are missing from the Rule Condition parameters.
  • The Discrepancy: While I can see Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and Zip Code under the Assignment business object attributes, rules defined there do not trigger during the "Home Address" entry in the Hire flow. The "Assignment" address attributes seem to point to work/location data rather than the person's home address.
