Can we update parent accounts to already defined child account

Summary:

we want to define the parent accounts for the child account which is already present in the application.

if i go to the account hierarchies i can see all the child accounts under account segments. now for these child account i need to define parent account,

example:

100000 - Cash and Cash Equivalents
100100 - Cash On Hand
100101 - Petty Cash
100102 - Change Fund
100103 - SPIFF Fund

first under "Manage Chart of Accounts Value Set Values" for accounts i will add those parents account manually, where summary will be yes.

then can i add the parent account under "Manage Account Hierarchies: Specify Nodes" by selecting the accounting flex field hierarchy parent values
