Calculating Time-to-Fill/Hire when Adding Positions to an Open Requisiton

Our organization does large volume hiring, and we will frequently have a requisition open when an additional position becomes available.  Instead of opening a second requisition, we will add a position to the current requisition. However, when calculating time to fill/hire for the second position, the report pulls from when the requisition was originally created, not from when the 2nd position was added. Has anyone come across a work around for this?
