I am looking to understand whether the “Save from Form” setting may negatively impact the performance of Commerce Actions in CPQ. Because this option is selected by default when new actions or attributes are created, many legacy attributes (including internal or system‑oriented attributes that users never modify or see) are currently configured with “Save from Form” across most actions.

I am not fully aware of the internal mechanics behind the “Leave Value Unchanged” option, but my assumption is that it should be more efficient than “Save from Form,” especially for attributes that are not intended to be updated during an action.
