How to include contingent worker in requisition approvals

Can we add person type (Contingent Worker or Employee) in requisition approvals

Requirement: We have a requirement to create new requisition approval rule like if the person type is contingent worker and amount is less than 5000$ it should get auto approved and if amount is more than 5000$ it should route to Manager.
