Ability to Hide "Info to Include" Section in Redwood HR and Manager transactions

Summary:

Looking for a way to globally or conditionally hide the "Info to Include" step (previously the Questionnaire in Responsive UI) across Personal and Employment Information transactions (e.g., Promote, Transfer, Change Assignment).

While the guided process flow is intuitive, our business requirement is to streamline transactions by removing the "Info to Include" step.

Business Case:

  • User Experience: For many transactions, we only want the user to see specific, mandatory sections. Having the "Info to Include" step adds an extra click and confuses users who aren't sure which optional sections they should toggle on/off.
  • Data Integrity: We want to control visibility through Business Rules rather than leaving it to the initiator's discretion at the start of the transaction.
