Intercompany Seller profile for Receiver BU in Internal Transfer Flow in redwood

We noticed that in redwood, it is requiring us to setup Intercompany Seller profile as well in addition to Intercompany Buyer profile for the Receiver BU in Internal Transfer Flow. In Classic UI, there was no need to setup Intercompany Seller profile for Receiver BU that acts as a Buyer in the Internal Transfer flow.

Is there a functionality change in Internal Transfer SCFO flow with redwood ?
