Redwood Hire Employee – adding custom fields to the Addresses section

Summary:

Hi everyone,

we are configuring the Redwood Hire Employee flow and would like to add one or more custom fields in the Addresses section (as shown in the attached screenshot).

We understand that standard address fields cannot be extended, so we would like to clarify the supported approach for this requirement, specifically:

• whether Descriptive Flexfields (DFF) can be used on Addresses,
• how such fields can be exposed in the Redwood UI during the Hire transaction,
• and whether additional configuration is required via HCM Experience Design Studio or other tools.

Any guidance, best practices, or references to official documentation would be greatly appreciated.
