Combining Debit and Credit columns into Amount - Data Exchange

Hi All - I am integrating with the Account Analysis report from ERP and need to take Debit - Credit in data exchange since they are in separate columns in the report. In past implementations, I have done SQL mapping to essentially say AMOUNTX = DEBIT - CREDIT, but it is not working. Can anyone share SQL syntax to accomplish this or if you have another way of accomplishing combining Debit and Credit into the amount field for allocation?

DRCRSplit does not work since this is an integraiton with ERP report, not a fixed file format.
