IMPORTANT: Mandatory Migration to Enhanced Skills Suggestions Using Generative AI

Oracle is making an important change to how Dynamic Skills Suggestions work in Oracle HCM. The existing skill suggestion model, which is based on predictive AI and machine learning, will no longer be supported starting with the 26B release. If your organization is still using this legacy model, you must transition to Enhanced Skills Suggestions powered by generative AI before 26B to avoid disruption.

This change is driven by customer feedback.

Across multiple releases, customers told us they need skill suggestions that are more relevant to real-world roles, more context-aware rather than keyword-driven, and better aligned with how skills evolve over time. While the predictive AI model served as a solid foundation, it relied heavily on historical patterns and data labeling. As roles, skills, and career paths have become more dynamic, that approach has reached its limits.
