Is it possible to set up Learn integration with Teams using a Certificate instead of client secret?

Our organization is looking into setting up the Oracle Learn integration with Microsoft Teams, and our IS teams are asking if it is possible to use a Certificate instead of a Client Secret when setting up the API? Sounds like Certificates are much more secure and Microsoft may be moving away from client secrets?
