External Supplier Registration Credential Popup Issue

Summary:

Supplier User gets the external supplier registration link. At the start of the registration process, there is a credential popup that comes up requesting authentication. We have implemented the temporary solution as prescribed in the below SR for now.

Did a permanent solution roll out for this already or is it planned for the future? If yes, please provide me with the relevant details on how to implement it or when will it be implemented.
