Summary:

We are currently live in Production with two segments enabled in ARCS for reconciliation. Our client now wants to add two additional segments — Cost Center and Intercompany — without incurring additional licensing costs.

From our understanding, the multi-segment configuration in ARCS is a one‑time decision taken during the initial application setup. Once the application is deployed with a particular number of segments, it cannot be modified later.

Questions:

  1. Is there any supported method to add new segments (Cost Center, Intercompany) after go‑live without recreating the ARCS application?
  2. Would rebuilding the ARCS application be the only option if additional segments are required?
