Removing leading 0's Entered in the serial number Field for Predefined SR generation Redwood Item

Summary:

We have enabled redwood functionality. In Item page under inventory specification tab, when item is enabled with predefined serial generation, in the serial number field when we entered the Leading/starting number as 0001, system is automatically rounding to 1.In classic page system used to retain the format which was helping to generate the serial numbers with 0001,0002.. Is there any configuration we nee to enable or its limitation in redwood?

When generated the serials system is creating sr# as RSTG1,RSRG2 for new items defined in redwood
