Oracle Cloud WMS: Full LPN Allocation not allocating when LPN > Order Qty (e.g., 125 vs 140)?

Summary:

Hello SCM community,We are encountering an issue in Oracle Cloud WMS with allocation behavior when using Full LPN Allocation mode.

In our scenario, say, the sales order line quantity is 125 units, and we have two available LPNs with quantities of 90 and 140 units each. Based on Full LPN Allocation logic, the system is expected to select the LPN with the closest higher quantity, which in this case is the 140 unit LPN.

Our tolerance settings are:

  • Minimum Shipping Tolerance: 0
  • Maximum Shipping Tolerance: 999

However, when attempting to allocate using Full LPN Allocation mode, the system does not allocate any inventory, nor does it generate an allocation task. We expected it to allocate at least one full LPN (specifically the 140‑unit LPN). If we have the ordered quantiy of 140 units, then the LPN with 140 units are being selected. But we would need to select this LPN even if it is 125 units in this example.
