Custom Asset Numbering

Summary:

Is it possible in Oracle Fusion Assets to:

1- Maintain separate automatic asset number sequences per Legal Entity / Book?

2- Generate asset numbers in the format BU_Sequence (e.g., 1360_1001) with independent automatic sequences per BU?

Example:

• For Business Unit 1360, asset numbering should start from 1001, generating:
  • 1360_1001
  • 1360_1002
  • 1360_1003
• For Business Unit 1370, asset numbering should also start from 1001, generating:
  • 1370_1001
  • 1370_1002
  • 1370_1003
