Learning with renewal can't be completed until validity period expires

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could confirm that the validity period and renewal rules are working as expected in the below scenario?
- Required learning is assigned via an Initiative which has an initial due date of within 30 days of joining.
- The advanced rules have an expiry date of 2 years as the learning is required to be completed every 2 years.
- The renewal rules are to start the next renewal after completion of the prior assignment.
Example:
- Leaner is assigned learning on 12th Feb 2024 with an initial due date of 13th March 2024 (30 days after joining). The assignment has an expiry of 2 years time as per the initiative set up (12th Feb 2026).
